An obvious solution would be to use a pad of higher absorbency. If you are willing to try another product you can use a menstrual cup or a tampon to collect your flow. You can even use either of these in combination with a pad as a backup. You can also use a calendar to keep a track of your menstrual cycles so that you can predict your next period and stay prepared for it by wearing protection a day or two before you expect your periods to start. Hey,I had the same issue of staining.Thanks to my friends,they told me about the existence of period panties.Initially i didn't like the idea,since usually these period panties are not cotton,or non-breathable material.
